Bora Bora

“I must have died and gone to heaven” is the usual comment one utters upon arriving at Bora Bora, the famous French-Polynesian Island. The striking contrast between the extinct volcano’s green two peaks – Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu – and the crystal clear turquoise of the lagoon and barrier reef is what gives the island its unique character. Ever since the 60’s, the island attracts many tourists from around the world with its staple over-the-water bungalows built on stilts over the lagoon.
